The UNITE 2015 Conference was held Monday, October 12th, through Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis At The Arch in downtown St. Louis Missouri.
Feedback from conference attendees confirms that the conference was a great success with excellent presentations, a great venue, and lots of opportunities to network with other attendees, sponsors, and speakers. For an independent opinion on the conference, see Alan Hood’s blog at http://www.hoodsoftwaresolutions.com/blog/unite-60-years-and-going-strong.
UNITE wishes to thank everyone participating in the conference for their involvement and support of the Unisys user community.
Early highlights of the conference were the Keynote Address presented by Brian Herkalo, Director, Global ClearPath Product Management, Unisys Corporation. The theme for Mr. Herkalo's address was "Change" and encompassed the driving need for IT agility within all organizations, how Unisys is managing this and also adjusting to deliver the technologies and services that enable enhanced IT agility.
The keynote address was followed by a seminal presentation on the new ClearPath architecture titled “Pivoting Toward the Future” also delivered by Mr. Herkalo. This session set the stage for detailed discussion on the ClearPath fabric-based infrastructure which represents the climax of ten years’ planning and execution. The presentation explained the fabric based architecture and laid the groundwork for evolution of ClearPath to become an integral component of a software-defined data center using software to define how business solutions are implemented within your environment.
We will be posting all the presentations delivered at UNITE 2015 on the Conference Presentation Archive under the “News and Resources” menu and we’ll send out a broadcast email when that is completed and also post that here. Note that full access to the archive requires UNITE membership login and that information will be provided to all UNITE 2015 conference attendees in the very near future.
We have also started a UNITE 2016 mailing list and have included everyone from the UNITE 2015 list. However if you didn’t sign up for the 2015 list, you can be added to the 2016 list using the form below.
